About the Blog: Under a Paper Moon is a safe, inclusive space for sensitive and diverse children’s picture books and illustrations. Our main goal is to allow a space for diverse authors and illustrators, to share their voice, and to bring that voice to a visible surface.
About the Author: Cynthia M. Garcia has a BA in English with a minor in Creative Writing from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago. She is a short story fiction writer, an illustrator (more of a doodler), an award-winning essayist, a wannabe picture book author, a marathoner, a teacher assistant, a mother of two, and lives with her husband in the northwest suburbs of Illinois.
